Feed My City is an Emergency Food Charity which provides dry food bags and hot meals to those in most need. We believe that every human being has the right to basic food and this should NOT be dependent on them having money.
We aim to provide simple, free, vegetarian, nourishing hot food and/or emergency food bags in the Manchester area. The food poverty programme serves our users, and we will not ask any unnecessary questions or charge for any of our services.
Statistics
Since Feed My City was founded in 2019, we have delivered around 400,000 hot meals and 17,000 dry food parcels.
Our Food
We provide both hot meals and dry food bags. Our hot meals are prepared by volunteers every weekday morning and a team of volunteers packs the dry bags once a week ready for the week ahead.
Hot Food

Dry Food Bags
Our dry bags contain cupboard items such as pasta, rice, cereal, noodles, and snacks.

Collection and delivery for organisations:
- Feed My City partners with many organisations in different parts of Greater Manchester to provide weekly hot nourishing meals and dry food parcels.
- Some examples of our partners include churches, community centres, local charities, homeless accommodation, and more.
- If you’re a Greater Manchester organisation supporting vulnerable clients who could benefit from free meals —either regularly or as a one-off— you can become a food partner by contacting us at admin@feedmycity.org.

Van operation

- Seven times a week we take our Feed My City van to a number of different boroughs in Greater Manchester, in locations that are in 10% most deprived areas of the UK. There we serve hot meals, and possibly fruit and snacks. Anyone can show up and receive food. We currently do this in the boroughs of Manchester, Salford, Trafford, Tameside, Bolton, and Rochdale.
